Enter your own YouTube Data API v3 key to search public videos using Google's free quota. Create a Google Cloud project, enable YouTube Data API v3, and create an API key in Google Cloud Credentials. Quotas and usage are controlled by Google.

Only the app owner can configure the shared provider. Keys are sent to the server for validation and must be saved in server-side Secrets, never browser storage. If Save is unavailable, add keys in Functions > Secrets as YOUTUBE_DATA_API_KEY (slot 1), YOUTUBE_DATA_API_KEY_2 through YOUTUBE_DATA_API_KEY_5 (slots 2–5), then click Test for each slot. Restrict keys to YouTube Data API v3 in Google Cloud. Google's quotas still apply.

Status: Not configured. Search tries configured keys in order and switches to the next if one is rejected or runs out of quota.

Data storage

This app saves private account data in its built-in key-value store. Public research results remain in the current session unless you save a brand. A relational database is available with a paid plan, but is not needed for this workflow.
